

There’s no thought that the audience might expect a big pay off to that story thread, or that it’s something requiring a build up. There, the man who killed Deep Throat in the first season finalé reappears to die rather unceremoniously on the end of an episode that needed something slotted in to fill a gap left by a crossover cancelled at the last minute. (In fact, you could argue that Red Museum is the perfect demonstration of how the series’ mythology and continuity is still a work in progress.
